T-Call & PMU and T-Call V1.3 comparison:

AXP192 is the power supply used on the T-Call & PMU board. It is an upgraded version of T-Call V1.3:
  • Change the power IC to AXP192 PMU management, support coulomb counter and high precision voltage and current Test function.
  • SIM800L RI Pin leads to ESP32, can accept voice or data calls, Wake up from received message.
  • The SIM800L DTR Pin leads to SP32, which can wake up SIMM800L from sleep state.

This is a TTGO TCall & PMU ESP32 Wireless Module SIM Antenna SIM Card SIM800L Module Unsoldered. The Module is a custom ESP32 (ESP-WROVER-B 8MB PSRAM) based development board with an onboard 2G/GPRS Module SIM800L. The USB Type C pluggable board also has an onboard LiPo Battery Charging Circuit & Connector and is a good choice for building IoT applications.

Besides Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, you can communicate with this ESP32 board using SMS or phone calls and you can connect it to the internet using your SIM card data plan. This is great for IoT projects that don’t have access to a nearby router.

  • To upload a sketch, pins 0 and GND must be short-circuited.
  • You will need a USB Type-C cable for downloading the program.
