EL wire is a flexible wire coated in phosphor. Yes, it will iluminate light when appropiate AC (Alternate Current) power is applied to it. Yup, is AC, not DC. It looks a lot like a thin flexible neon tube. They come in many bright colors, we are now carry orange, white, blue, red, green, yellow and purple. So what is this inverter? This inverter is the device need to drive the EL wire!

As stated, it require AC, but not our house AC power. Please do not try using our house AC 240V 50Hz to power this EL wire. Use this inverter to drive it, this inverter take 12V DC input and invert it to appropiate AC at around 90V at 2KHz. It is designed to drive EL wire only. It is capable to drive up to 5 meters of EL wire.
