BroadLink RM4 pro, supports control on IR and RF devices. The all-in-one remote converts your smartphone into a universal remote control and integrates home entertainment and automation control into an easy-to-use application called BroadLink.

RM4-Pro works with Alexa, Google Assistant and IFTTT. In conjunction with Alexa, it lets you use hands-free voice control on your devices, such as turning your TV on and off, or turning the volume on and off with a voice command.

It supports RF controlled devices (433 MHz), such as curtain or roller motors, headlights and light switches. There is also compatibility with 50,000 IR-controlled devices such as TV, STB, DVD, air conditioners, fans, video, audio and more (does not work with Bluetooth, does not support RF code control or RF learning)

It includes 98% of the infrared remote control capability, while it is automatically updated via the cloud.

It also has a Learning Mode. It is small but very smart. You can create multiple timers for your devices as you wish.

It also supports external sensors. The RM4 Pro supports BroadLink HTS2 sensor cable for temperature and humidity measurement (sold separately).

 

NOTES

  • Make sure your phone is connected to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi before adding a device (5GHz is not supported).
  • The Wi-Fi password must not contain more than 32 characters and special characters that are not available on the standard keyboard.
  • If you have difficulty adding a device to smart configuration mode, refer to the instructions in the manual to test the AP configuration.
  • The RM4 pro IR only supports 433MHz fixed code and code learning (315MHz or rolling code not supported).

Universal RM4 Pro IR / HF remote control
RM4 pro is an update of RM pro +. Unlike the RM Pro +, the RM4-Pro is thinner and has more curves. Supports fixed code and learning code, 38kHz IR remote control and 433 MHz RF remote control. Like the RM4 Mini, it has a socket for a special sensor cable that can monitor and display room temperature and humidity in real-time application. The sensor cable is sold separately if required.

Supports sensors
The HTS2 is a USB sensor cable that can capture room temperature and humidity and see data in the application in real time, making it much easier to see your environment. Currently only works with RM4-Pro and RM4-Mini, does not support RM mini3, RM pro + or BestCon RM4C mini.

Zero configuration, FastCon Technology
The RM4-Pro supports Zero Configuration, which means you do not have to go through the process again after adding the first FastCon device to the application. When you activate more new FastCon devices and try to add them to the application, they are automatically detected and added without having to re-enter the password.

Create options and timers
Adjust different options with one click, e.g. one option for sleep, one for your morning routine, another for the time you are on the go and much more… Set a timer and never miss your favorite game or TV show with a TV connection. Adjust the air conditioning so that you can enjoy a temperature-controlled environment and a good night's sleep.

New BroadLink application
A new app called BroadLink is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play. It offers the user more flexibility in configuring and creating timers and options from the IHC. Additionally, if you have an Android phone with an infrared transmitter, you can use it to control your infrared devices from the BroadLink app.

Speaker
Compatible with Alexa for voice control of your TV, STB, fans and air conditioning. Also compatible with Google Home for voice control of your air conditioning. Make sure devices can be controlled remotely via external networks. In the Amazon Alexa and Google Home apps, enable a service or feature called BroadLink, then sign in to your account and discover devices. Setting in 3 steps
Download the new app called BroadLink from the Apple App Store or Google Play (supports iOS 8.0 / Android 4.0 and later) and configure the device according to the app's instructions.

Control panel & learning buttons
BroadLink's Patented Global Cloud Services Technology and a variety of remote control databases allow fast and reliable operation. If you cannot find your remote control in the database, a learning function is available so that you can add a new remote control and teach the button functions to your device.

Voice control
Make sure devices can be controlled remotely via external networks. In the Amazon Alexa and Google Home applications, enable a service or feature called BroadLink, then connect your account and discover devices.
