LEGO® Education SPIKE ™ Essential came to excite elementary school students. The new educational robotics equipment kit offers unique learning experiences based on play, experiential learning and storytelling to encourage students to explore their knowledge of STEM methodology. The new learning experience promises to make children independent, productive with a view to their social and emotional development.

LEGO Education SPIKE Essential is a member of the LEGO family of training kits. It is an exciting practical solution that utilizes playful learning experiences. In this way it attracts primary school students to STEAM learning. Guiding them on the path to becoming courageous and independent thinkers.

This playful, narrative learning experience encourages students to explore STEAM. It also contributes to the development of writing and reading, mathematical and socio-emotional skills. Uses small figures, with different characteristics and personalities, to do problem solving so that each student can be identified.

THE PACKAGE INCLUDES

The SPIKE Essential Set contains 449 building materials, Hub with 2-Port, 2 Small Motors, 1 Light Matrix and 1 Color Sensor, which students can program in the LEGO® Education SPIKE application to bring their creations to life!

The set comes with 4 mini figures, each with a distinct personality. They are used as narrators so that each student can identify with them and enter the process to solve the problem. The set also includes spare parts and a durable storage box with sorting discs in different colors to simplify the manufacturing process and order management.

The new LEGO® Education SPIKE ™ App application introduces students to programming and robotics in a simple and at the same time intuitive way.

The programming environment with SPIKE Prime is based on the Scratch drag and drop programming language for Tablets and PCs, which is currently used by millions of students around the world, offering ease of use.
