This buzzer module is passive because it does not have any internal electronics to generate a sound or tone.

External electronics or a microcontroller based device, such as an Arduino, is needed to make the device produce a sound.

Because the device is passive, it acts more like a tiny loudspeaker than a buzzer. 

 

  • Voltage: 3.3 - 5V
  • With fixed bolt hole: 3mm for easy installation
  • Module adopts 9012 transistor drive
  • No oscillation source, need square wave (frequency 2K-5K ) to drive
  • Sound frequency control, you can make a “do re mi fa sol la si” effect
