PLA

PLA is popular with both hobbyists and professionals. It is biodegradable and safe. It is mainly used on items with an emphasis on detail and can be processed such as sanding and painting. It is not suitable for items that will be used at high temperatures.

ABS

ABS is the most popular material. It is more impact resistant (compared to PLA) and has a longer lifespan. It is suitable for items that will be used at higher temperatures. It can be treated like sanding and painting.

PET-G

PET-G is a well-known material from which water bottles are also made. It combines properties from PLA and ABS that make it highly impact resistant. It is suitable for outdoor use and does not absorb water.

FLEX

Flexible filaments can be used on objects with partial flexibility, such as a car tire, or with full flexibility, such as rubber. They offer high mechanical strength.

ASA

ASA has similar properties to ABS, with a large improvement in strength. Offers resistance to weather conditions. Its characteristics are resistance to ultraviolet radiation and high temperature.
