By utilizing the new-generation LoRa spread spectrum modulation technology, the SX126X LoRa HAT achieves a communication range of up to 5 km, with support for auto-repeating to enable even longer transmission distances. Additional features include Wake on Radio, wireless configuration, carrier sensing, communication key, and more.

Compared to standard SX127X LoRa modules, the SX126X LoRa HAT offers longer communication range, higher data rates, lower power consumption, and enhanced security and interference resistance, making it well-suited for a wide range of applications such as industrial control, smart home, and data collection.
