Premium ASA manufactured in Europe by Devil Design. It is a consumable high quality 100% pure raw material without additions. ASA Filament of thermoplastic polymeric material in the form of a fiber, used for 3D-printers in the method FFF. Intended for the manufacture of functional prototypes and finished products, which are expected to have great resistance to weather conditions and durability. Filament does not change color under the influence of the UV radiation.
The filament is wound on a reel and packed in a vacuum with desiccant. The reel contains 1 kg net of material. It can be used in all FFF printers unprotected from using material obtained from an external supplier and "open source" design. ASA is a material with a high (compared to ABS) stability to external factors, it can easily be processed by as grinding or drilling the material is soluble in acetone. ASA is an ideal replacement for conventional copolymer ABS.
If you can print ABS you can print ASA. Prints with temperature around 230-240°C with your heatbed set to about 90-100°C. Perfect for applications like, automotive parts, outdoor furniture, technical parts, sensor housings or just on prints where you dont want a glossy surface.
