Grove - Sunlight Sensor is a multi-channel digital light sensor capable of detecting both visible and infrared light. It delivers exceptional performance across a wide dynamic range and various light sources, including direct sunlight.

This device is built around the SI1151, a cutting-edge sensor from SiLabs. The SI1151 is a low-power, reflectance-based infrared proximity and ambient light sensor featuring an I2C digital interface and a programmable event interrupt output. It ensures reliable performance under diverse lighting conditions, including direct sunlight.

The Grove - Sunlight Sensor includes an onboard Grove connector, allowing seamless connection to an Arduino. It is ideal for projects requiring light detection, such as a Raspberry Pi weather station or a smart irrigation system using Arduino for monitoring the visible spectrum.
