Micro:bit control boards are increasingly popular in the education sector, but integrating them with other sensor modules can be challenging.

This expansion board makes connecting the micro:bit with other sensors straightforward by converting all PIO ports on the micro:bit into a 3PIN interface (GND, VCC, Signal). Additionally, the board includes commonly used serial communication interfaces, like I2C and SPI, in pin or female headers with a 2.54mm pin pitch. This allows the micro:bit to communicate with various devices.

The micro:bit board can be powered through a DC jack (7-9V) or a micro USB port (DC 5V) on the shield. The sensor's power supply voltage can be chosen between 3.3V or 5V using the jumper cap V1 and V2.
