The Raspberry Pi SSD Kit is a great-value way to grab both the Raspberry Pi NVMe SSD and Raspberry Pi M.2 HAT+ to unlock outstanding performance for I/O intensive applications on Raspberry Pi 5, including super-fast startup when booting from the SSD.
The kit comes pre-assembled with the SSD installed into the M.2 HAT+, ready out of the box to connect to your Raspberry Pi 5 (not included).
The kit includes a 16mm stacking header, spacers, and screws to secure to your Pi 5. A Raspberry Pi Active Cooler can also be used underneath the HAT at the same time when using these spacers.
The kit comes with either a 256GB or 512GB SSD pre-installed (select before adding to cart), which offers the following performance when accessed using a 1-lane PCI Express 2.0 bus on Raspberry Pi 5:
