The TC74HC595A is a high speed 8-BIT SHIFT REGISTER/LATCH fabricated with silicon gate C2MOS technology. 

This is a common 555 timer/oscillator from TI.

The LN298 is a high voltage, high current, dual full-bridge motor driver designed to  accept standard TTL logic levels and drive inductive loads such as relays, solenoids, DC and stepping motors.

The 74HC238 is a high speed CMOS 3 to 8 line decoder.

The ULN2004 are high voltage, high current Darlington arrays each containing seven open collector Darlington pairs with common emitters. Each channel rated at 500 mA and can withstand peak currents of 600 mA.
